Can you tell us a little more about your company and how you got your start?

LandSkyAI is a turnkey provider of automated robotics for logistic and safety purposes. Our goal is to make the adoption of robotics simple and we do that through an innovative package based on autonomous aerial and ground robotics. We work with best-in-class manufacturers of robotic technology and combine it with on-site integrations, video analytics, and human-backed services such as maintenance and remote operators to control the systems. What we offer is a fully automated solution requiring little work for customers.

What connection do you and your team have to Queens?

I was originally born in Queens before moving Upstate, or to "the Sticks" as my brother-in-law from Queens calls it. My family has always had an integration business based in College Point where I've spent plenty of time. When starting LandSkyAI, it only made sense to come to Queens to take advantage of the diverse and skilled workforce along with the many amenities of being in a place like Long Island City.

What is your latest project, and why are you excited about it?

Our latest project is seeing us do remote drone security for a manufacturing site just outside the tri-state area. In this project, we are leveraging a fully automated drone-in-a-box system which means the drone takes off from and lands in a "box" or "hangar where it charges on its own. No on the ground involvement is needed, and our team has the processes to completely remotely manage this project. This is the future of security.
